2022 FLOOD: SEMA LEADS QUEEN CASSIO OUTREACH FOR FOOD DISTRIBUTION.

Benue State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, today 3rd November 2022 led an international organization, Queen Cassio outreach in collaboration with Bishop Collins Tyo ministries International to distribute food items to some flood victims in Makurdi.

The founder, Lady Queen Ejindu who was represented by Bishop Collins Tyo commiserated with the Government and the people of the state over the unfortunate incident and expressed hope that the gesture will cushion the plight of the flood victims.

She said the situation has drawn the attention of both the international communities and as a mother, she was touched and decided to send her donation to cushion the effects of the flood on the victims.

She sympathizes with the Benue State Government over the huge humanitarian challenge the state was facing and prayed to God to give the Governor the strength to continue to handle the situation.

While she extolled the good leadership qualities of the Executive Secretary, of Benue State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, Dr. Emmanuel Shior who she said has been transparent in attending to the victims.

The Executive Secretary, Benue State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, Dr. Emmanuel Shior represented by the Senior Special Assistance to the Governor on Emergencies, Hon. Cyprian Tsenongo appreciated Lady Queen Ejindu for the humanitarian gesture.

He solicited more interventions as he prayed to God to reward the donor with a thousand folds.

Bags of rice (10kg) were distributed to the victims.
