QCO Bore Hole Project (The Water Project)
Category: Building Communities & Health Access to clean water is a fundamental human right and a critical social determinant of health. The QCO Bore Hole Project provides clean, safe, and accessible water to Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in Benue State, Nigeria, and other underserved areas. By drilling wells where they are needed most, we drastically reduce waterborne diseases and lay the foundation for community health.
QCO IDP Mega City
Category: Building Communities & Sustainable Housing The QCO IDP Mega City is a visionary 200-hectare building project designed to provide safe, dignified, and permanent housing for Internally Displaced Persons. The land was generously donated by the people of Benue State. This project aims to transition vulnerable families from temporary camps into a thriving, self-sustaining community equipped with essential social amenities.
QCO Feeding Program & Food Security
Category: Agricultural Development & Nutrition Food security is vital for physical and cognitive development. Our feeding programs ensure that the most vulnerable populations receive nutritious meals. A major milestone in this initiative was our Christmas outreach on December 25, 2021, where we successfully fed 21,000 internally displaced persons at the Ortese IDP camp, ensuring no family went hungry during the holidays.
Our Impact in Action: The Benue State Initiative
Our humanitarian footprint is built on strong partnerships with governments, traditional institutions, and local communities. Below are highlights from our foundational humanitarian field report and outreach in Benue State, Nigeria (November – December 2021).
Government & Stakeholder Engagement Collaboration with the government is key to sustainable development. Lady Queen Elizabeth Ejindu, Founder of QCO, alongside Bishop Collins Tyo, was officially received by the Benue State Government, including the Commissioner and the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor. Furthermore, our team was warmly received by the Commissioner and Director of the Ministry of Rural Development, solidifying our collective commitment to rural and community development.
Community Appreciation & Land Handover We express our deepest gratitude to the host community for generously donating the 200 hectares of land for the IDP Mega City. The traditional community chiefs and elders offered prayers and blessings for the project. The official taking of delivery of the land was a historic moment, witnessed by the Representative of the Governor of Benue State.
Bringing Joy & Holistic Support Our outreach extends beyond physical needs to emotional and spiritual well-being. During the Christmas festivities on December 24, 2021, we organized sporting activities at the IDP camp to bring joy, normalcy, and smiles to the children and families. We are also proud to support various community members, including local pastors who have directly benefited from QCO charity works.

Benue State donation 2022 FLOOD: SEMA LEADS QUEEN CASSIO OUTREACH FOR FOOD DISTRIBUTION By MC Zege & Godwin Gwaza Gwabo
Benue State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, today 3rd November 2022 led an international organization, Queen Cassio outreach in collaboration with Bishop Collins Tyo ministries International to distribute food items to some flood victims in Makurdi.
The founder, Lady Queen Ejindu who was represented by Bishop Collins Tyo commiserated with the Government and the people of the state over the unfortunate incident and expressed hope that the gesture will cushion the plight of the flood victims.
She said the situation has drawn the attention of both the international communities and as a mother, she was touched and decided to send her donation to cushion the effects of the flood on the victims.
She sympathizes with the Benue State Government over the huge humanitarian challenge the state was facing and prayed to God to give the Governor the strength to continue to handle the situation.
While she extolled the good leadership qualities of the Executive Secretary, of Benue State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, Dr. Emmanuel Shior who she said has been transparent in attending to the victims.
The Executive Secretary, Benue State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, Dr. Emmanuel Shior represented by the Senior Special Assistance to the Governor on Emergencies, Hon. Cyprian Tsenongo appreciated Lady Queen Ejindu for the humanitarian gesture.
He solicited more interventions as he prayed to God to reward the donor with a thousand folds.
Bags of rice (10kg) were distributed to the victims.
